WHEREAS, the resignation of John G. Pipkin, commissioner
in Street Improvement District No . 548, has been filed with
the City Clerk; it becomes necessary that another commissioner
be appointed to take John G. Pipkin' s place on the Board.
It has been recommended that %. A• buraeli _be appointed
to fill the vacancy left by this resignation.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that J. A. burdell
is hereby elected commissioner to fill the vacancy left by
the resignation of John G. Pipkin , and said commissioner
is requested to take the oath of office and proceed with
the regular business as a Commissioner in Street Improvement
District No. 548
