,ihereas, there has been filed with the City Clerk a
petition to the City Council for the annexation of certain
territory to Street Improvement District No . 534 of the City
of Little Rock, which the signers claim is signed by a majority
in value of the owners of real 'property in the territory to be
annexed and attach thereto a certificate of the abstractor to
that effect :
SOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Clerk
shall publish once a week for two weeks in some newspaper
published in this city a notice calling upon the real property
owners owning property within the territory described in said
petition to appear before the Council on the 4 day of November,
1940, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. and show* cause for or against
such annexation.
