1533 RESOLUTION NO. 1533
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR JND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A LEASE TO THE WAR DEPARTMENT OF THE UNITED
STATES ARMY OF A PART OF ADAMS FIELD (LITTLE ROCK
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT) .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Little Rock , Arkansas be , and they are
hereby authorized to execute a lease to the War Depart-
went of the United States Army on that part of Adams
Field (Little Rock Municipal Airport ) lying East and
North of the present entrance to said Airport for use
by the United States Army Air Corps for the erection
of barracks and such other use as may be needed uy
said United States Army Air Corps in the National
Defense Program.
SECTION 2. That the consideration to the
City of Little Rock for the lease of said property shall
be the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) per year.
