1464 • l '0 i RESOLUTION NO. 1464 Whereas, a Commissioner' s Sale has been had in Cause No. 42242, City of Little Rock et al. v. Caroline Williams et al., Pu1asi3 Chan- cery Court, as to All of Lot Seven (7) except the South Twenty (20) feet of the East Sixty-five and five-tenths (65.5) feet, all of Lot Eight (8) except the North Twenty-five (25) feet of the West One Hun- dred Twenty-nine (129) feet and the South One (1) foot of the East Twenty-five (25) feet of Lot Nine (9), all in Block Thirteen (13) Masonic Addition to the City of Little Rock; and Whereas, the prone rty has been bought in the name of Edward L. Wright, Trustee, for a nominal sum of $7,000.00, and the said Edward L. Wright, Trustee, will hold said property for the benefit of the City of Little Rock and the other legatees under the will of Dr. C. E. Bentley, deceased; and Jherea.s, it is necessary for the record in the Pulaski Chanocry Court to recite full satisfaction before the said Commissioner's Deed can be delivered and the transactions consummated with the University of Arkansas Medical School under the terms of which the above de- scribed property would be transferred in consideration for the sum of $3,000.00 in cash and the conveying in fee title Lot 12 and the East 50 feet of Lots 7, 8 and 9, in Block 6, Pope's :addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; and Whereas, the payment of the .2210 interest of the City of Little Rock ( subject to the life estate of Mrs. Catherine Bentley) will be paid after the afore-mentioned deals; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R7SOLVED that the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter a satisfaction as to the City of Little Rock' s Interest in said Commissioner's Sale upon the 2. records of the Pulaski Chancery Court. Dear Ed: This will confirm my conversation of today with you: As Trustee, I have bid in the Bentley property at the Commissioner's Sale held in Case No. 42242, but the Clerk will not deliver the Commissioner' s Deed until satisfaction has been entered upon the records. Enclosed herewith are two copies of form of resolution authorizing you to satisfy the records. This letter is evidence that neither you nor the City of Little Rock has received its proportionate ( .2210) part of the remainder interest in this property; and that I, as Trustee, will make remittance to the City just as soon as this transaction is consummated.
