1450 RESOLUTION # 1450 WHEREAS, during the latter part of the year 1938, the City Council of the City of Little Hock was forced to enforce upon all employees of the City a salary reduction which amounted to Four (4) days pay per month, and, WHEREAS, it now appears to the said City Council that said salary reduction can be restored to those employees of the City who worked continuously and did not take off the Four (4) days provided for in the said salary reduction, and, -A-IEREAS, said salary reduction should now be restored to , said employees who worked for the City and did not take advantage of the Four (4) day lay-off . NOW THE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS That all employees of the City of Little aock, Arkansas who did not lay-off for the period of Four (4) days each month, but who worked continuously as though their salary had been paid in full during the time which the City Council found it necessary to curtail salaries are hereby authorized to receive their back salary in full and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas are hereby authorized and instructed to issue the City's warrant , and to pay same, in full, for all back salaries due said City employees who suffered Four (4) day cuts per month during the year 1938. It is distinctly understood that any and all employees who took a vacation for Four (4) days during each month the salary cut was in effect shall not be entitled to receive any back salary.
