1447 RESOLUTION # 14+7
WHEREAS, George Henson, a member of the Little Rock Police
Department was injured in line of duty, and since his injury has
been confined to the Army and Navy Hospital in Hot Springs, where
he is receiving all treatment and medical attention without expense
to the City; and,
WHEREAS, Physicians at said Hospital report that Mr. Henson
can be returned to duty within sixty or ninety days; and,
::HEREAS, said George Henson has been carried on the payroll
of the Police Depart lent for a period of six (6) months; and,
WHEREAS , The City Council after an investigation feels that
the City should continue to pay said George Henson a salary as a
police officer for the next Ninety (90 ) days, unless he should
sooner be returned to duty.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
That the Chief of Police is hereby instructed to continue
the said George Henson on the Police Department payroll for a
period of Ninety (90) days unless he should be sooner returned to
duty.
