1434 RESOLUTION NO 1434.
WHEREAS, Much heavy traffic is now using East Sixth Street
and in addition said street is one of the through streets leading
from the down town section of the city to the municipal airport; and
WHEREAS, The vehicles using said street should be given the
right-of-way as a matter of safety and also in order to aid in
speeding up the cross-town traffic ;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS

That from and after the adoption of this resolution that
East Sixth Street from Cumberland Street East to Harrington Street
be declared a boulevard; and the Chief of Police is hereby directed
to install stop signs at all of said intersections warning motorists
and drivers of all vehicles to come to a full stop before entering
said East Sixth Street;
