1414 RESOLUTION NO. 1414
WHEREAS , The Little Rock Community Fund is now
conducting its annual subseription campaign for raising the
money necessary to finance the Community Chest and the agencies
thereof during the comin': year; and ,
WHEREAS , Said agencies Bare for many of the sharitible
requests and needs which otherwise would f1111 upon the City of
Little Rock , and result therein in saving much time and money
for the citizens and the tax payers of the City of Little Roek
and ,
WHEREAS , Said City of Little Roek should aid in
f inansing this said agency
New, Therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS:
That the Mayor and Finance Committee are hereby
authorized to oledte to the said Community Chest for and in
behalf of the City of Little Rock the sum of Five Thousand and
No/100 05,000.00) Dollars; and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and empowered to make sueh payment from the
General Fund of the City of Little Roek after January 1 , 1g38
at sueh intervals and in such amounts up to the said sum of
Five Thousand Dollars as they may teem for the best interests
of the City.
