"WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is undesirable
for beer to be sold in the City of Little Rock on Main Utreet
in the open, and in a place that is not enclosed, or under a
roof; and,
H IZ:il ti, Ruston is now engaged in the
sale of beer on the corner of Fifteenth and ::ainCtreets, and
the
has procured a license from/City to sell said beer, and said
beer is being sold from the street , or vacant lot adjoining
the street , and beer cases and beer bottles are openly displayed
along ::ain Street and Fifteenth Utreet causing considerable
objection from the citizens of the community; and,
'.WHEREAS, persons who drink beer assemble around said
lot and upon said lot and drink beer in the open, upon the street;
and before the public, and then loiter thereabout , causing an
unsightly and undesirable condition on said corner; and,
'":'HEREAS, the City Council of the ,,ity of Little Rock find$
the above described condition as facts, and desiring that said
condition be abated,
IT IS, THEREFORE, resolved by the City Council of the
-ity of Little Rock that the act by which a license was issued
the said Ruston to sell beer at said location
in the City of Little hock be , and said act is hereby rescinded,
and the license of said Ruston to sell beer on
said above described corner is hereby revoked.
