1397 RESOLUTION NO. 1397
WHEREAS, it is understood that certain CCC Camps are
to be abandoned; and,
WHEREAS, the CCC Camp located in Fair Park, in the
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, is engaged in the
improving of Boyle Park in said City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, by improving and paving roads therein, building
a dam for swimming pool, building bridges and otherwise improving
said Park; and,
WHEREAS, if said CCC Camp located in Fair Park is
abandoned the improvements which have been begun in the said Boyle
Park will be a total loss as the City of Little Rock will be
unable to carry on the completion of said work,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE I:AYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
That it is the desire of said Mayor and said City
Council that the CCC Camp located in Fair Park in the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, be left undisturbed at
least until said improvements in Boyle Park are completed, and
that a request be made to the Director and Officers in charge of
said CCC Camps that said Fair Park CCC Camp be not included in
the list of Camps to be abandoned.
