APPLICATION TO 1HE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY
ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC ,CORKS FOR A
LOAN AND GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING T?-
COSTRUCTION AND EUIPI/L7NT OF AN ADDI-
TION' TO CITY LIBRARY AND DESIGNATING
MAYOR R. E. OVERMAN TO FURNISH SUCH
INFORMATION AS THE GOVERNMENT MAY RE`?UEST.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas :
Section 1. That Mayor R. E. Overman be and he is
authorized to execute and file an application on behalf of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , to the United States of
America for a Loan and Grant to aid in the construction and
equipment of an addition to City Library.
Section 20 That Mayor R. E. Overman be and is
hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information
as the United States of America, through the Federal Emergency
Administration of Public Works, may reasonably request in con-
nection with t he application which is herein authorized to be
