1382RESOLUTION NO. 138 2.
WITREAS, economic conditions have been such
during the past five years, that the City of Little
Rock has been unable to allocate any a;?preciable amount
of money to the Little Rock Public Library for the -our -
chase of new books, and,
tilliEREAS, the Library is in great need of books of
value to the citizenship of Little Rock, that have been
published during the past several years.
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Librarian of
the Little Rock Public Library is authorized and directed
to purchase for said library each month beginning July
1st, 1936, new books not to exceed the total sum of
Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), until January 1st, 1937.
