BONDS OF CITY 0F' LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS, PNDT A.UTHO RIZTNG TT', DELIVERY OF SAID
BONDS
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock offered for sale. dine
Hundred Two Thousand end no /100 Dollars 0902,000.00) of its
Sewer revenue :Bonds at public sale at two o'clock P. Y. on March
5, 1936 after Notice of Stile of said bonds had been published
in t.',e - :rkansas Gazette on February 20th and February 22nd, 1936
-,nd in the �Lrkansas Democrat on February 19th rind February 21st,
1936; and
:,IffiRE1_S, the Sewer Committee of the City of Little Rook,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, has determined that it is for the best
interests of said City to cocept the bid of the United States
of 4merica (which was the only bid received at the public sale),
aju sell mine hundred Two Thousand and no /100 Dollars (t902,000.00)
of its ;ewer Revenue Bonds to the United titstes of .;merica at a
price of par and accrued interest from the date of said sale or
in case any of the bonds ^re delivered e.fter the first interest
payment date, from the interest payment date immediately preceding
the date of payment of the purchase price, to the det e of payment
of purchase price; and
`,qH REAS, the Sewer Committee has adopted a resolution to
such effect and submitted same to this Council;
NOW, TH RFFORT:, 3 -� IT T.i;J:SOLVED by t -r.e Council of the City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
Section. 1, That the manner of sale determined by the
Sewer Committee to be for the best interests of the City of Little

Rock is hereby approved;

Section 2. That the Treasurer of said City be and is here-
by authorized and directed to deliver to the United States of -aMer-
ica, as a whole or in blocks Prom time to time, Sewer Revenue Bonds
of said City in the aggregate principal amount of Nine Hundred
Two Thousand and no /100 Dollars ( fir 902, 000.00) , and to accept pay-
ment therefor.
Section 3. That the lack of an adequete Sewer System
endangers the health and sef ety of the inhabitants of said City;
that by reason of the present conditions many citizens are unem-
ployed and the construction of said improvements to the Sewer
System would provide work for a large number of men and thereby
add to the peace, and happiness of the inhabitants of said City.
IT IS, THEREFORE, declared that an emergence exists,
that this resolution is necessary for the imm.edinto preservation
of the public peace, health and sr =fety tend thFt this resolution
shall tyke effect and be in full force and effect from and after
its passage.
