1357RESOLUTION NO. 1757.
"A resolution approving the bid and
contract forms relating to the con-
struction of the administrative
building and airplane hanger at the
Little Rock Air Depot ".
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Little Rock Arkansas;
Section 1. That the bid and contract forms relating to the con-
struction of the administrative building and airplane hanger to be con-
structed by the United States on property known as the Little Rock Air
Depot, (herein called the "Project ") be and the same are hereby in all
respects approved, said bid and contract forms having been prepared in
accordance with the wishes of the City of Little Rock; that a copy of the
booklet containing such bid and contract forms be and the same is hereby
ordered filed among the official records of the City Council.
Section 2. That the Mayor of the City of Little Rock be and he
is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City, to certify that
such bid and contract forms relating to the Project are approved oy the City
and to execute endorsements, certificates or other instruments in this con-
nection; that on behalf of the City, the Mayor be and he is hereby further
authorized to approve in writing the Contract (U. S. Government Form No.
PIA 51, Revised 10 -1 -35, as changed and amended by the bid and contract
forms or as hereafter amended) between the United States and any contractor
or contractors whose bids are accepted for the construction of the project.
Section 3. That the Mayor of the City of Little Rock be and he
is hereby authorized to approve any and all changes in said bid and contract
forms or in the working drawings, plans or specifications for the project
which he deems advisable.
Section 4. That the Clerk of the City of Little Rock be and he
is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to send to said Federal Emergency
Administration of Public Works two certified copies of the proceedings of the
City Council in connection with the adoption of this resolution, including
the resolution itself, and such further documents of proof in connection with
the approval of said as may be required by
said Federal Emergency Administration of Public ,'corks.
