WHEREAS, The 1,2unicipal ._ewer Committee has heretofore adver-
tised for and received bids for the construction of an extension
to the present sanitary sewer system, including, among other things,
an intercepting 'Line from the septic tanks in Sewer improvement %is-
trict 13o. 103 in a southerly direction to a connection with the ex-
isting system;and
The lowest 'bid received was from McEachin & McEachin,
Inc., which bid contemplates concrete pipes and common brick for
manholes; and
WHEREAS, The Sewer Committee has heretofore accepted said bid
as being the lowest and best bid received:
Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ?HOCK,
That the action of the sewer Committee in accepting said bid
be and the same is hereby ratified, affirmed and approved, and that
the Sewer Committee, through its Chairman and Secretary be, and are
hereby authorized and directed to execute and enter into contract
with 11cEachIn & McEachin, Inc. for the work contemplated in said bid,
to be done in accordance with the plans and specifications to be ap-
proved by the P. W. A.
That the contract with McEachin & McEachin, Inc. contain a
provision to the effect that no payments shall be made to the said
McEachin & McFac yin, Inc. by the City of Little -cock except from
funds received by the said City from the P. W. A.
