1337Resolution No. 1337 WHEREAS, certain moneys belonging to various funds of the City of Little Rock were on deposit in the American: - Exchange Trust Company, in 1930, and, also, Peoples Trust Company, in 1933, when these banks failed, and WHEREAS, The City Treasurerts bonds for such years are liable for re- payment of such sums of money, and WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock paid the usual insurance premium to Fidelity and Deposit Company, of Liaryland, a corporate surety company, in 1930 and, also in 1933, for signing the bond of the City Treasurer during each year, now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the City Council of Little Rock that the Mayor of Little Rock be and he is hereby directed and instructed to take, at once, such steps as may be necessary to recover the money lost through the failure of American-= xchange Trust Company and 'Peoples Trust Company and the Mayor is authorized to do all things necess- ary to recover such sums of money.
