ORDINANCE NO. 2 7 0 6. '
An ordinance laying off certain portions of the City of
Little Rock,ArItansas,into a Street Improvement District and desig-
nating the boundaries thereof,said district to be known as "Street
Improvement District No.Va .
l'lhereas, more than ten owners of real property within the
portion of the City of Little Rock hereinafter set forth have petitioned
the City Council of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,to take steps
toward the making of local improvements therein by doing* the necessary
draining and paving with asphaltic concrete,bitulithic asphalt,sheet
asphalt or with such of ler materiils ana in such manner as the com-
missioners of said mistrict $hall determine to be for the best inter-
ests of the district ,the foliowing street:
West Seventh Street from the west property line of ',enter
:street to the east property line of Victory �"?treet,ercept its
intersection with Gaines Street,which is already paved.
TUMEFORE,BE IT ORDAINED B' 'rAF ' C I`I'Y COUNCIL 0? THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK,ARK"NSAS:
Section 1. That Street Improvement District NO-498 of the
City of Tittle Rock,Arkansn ,be and the same is hereby eyeateA and
established for the purpose of making local improvements therein by
doing the necessary draining and paving with asphaltic concrete,
bitulithic asphalt,sheet asphalt or with such otr)er materials and in
such mangier as 'the commissioners o ` said district shall determine to
be for the best interests of the district,the following street:
West Seventh Street from the west property line of Center
:street to the east property ling: of Victory Street,except its
intersection with Gaines Stye t,which is already I;aved,
all in the City of Little 3ock,Arkansas, in ac.,ordance with the Act of
the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas,entitlerl, "An Act to
regulate local. irnl.rovements in Cities of the First Class," appr,ved
March 22,1881 and amendments thereto. That the boundaries of said
district shall include:
hots 1,2,3,1 911 & 12 of Blocks 92,107,114,129,176,227,
249,263,289,306 and 329; and
Lots 4,5,6,7,8 & 9 of Blocks 93,106,115,128,177,226,250,
262,290,305,and 330,all -in the original City of Little Rock,
` Pulaski County,Ar-�-msas.
Section 2. That all,ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereb,;J repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage, and the city clerk is hereby erd�ered,within
20 days of the passage of this ordinanee,to publish the same in some
newspaper published in the City of Little Rock,for one insertion.
