Jherea.s, :'here have been presented to this council war- rants of the City of Little -'ock, as follows: T1os. 30580 to 30582, 'inclusive, and ros. 31014 and 31015, drawn July 9, 1919, in favor of Speer w Dour, for X1000.00 each, date of maturity July 9, 1920; ros. 31017 to 31044, inclusive, 31054 to 31082, inclusivE 31084 to 31126, inclusive, 31132 to 31141, inclusive, 31143 to 31156, inclusive, 31160 to 31172, inclusive, and 31452 to 31460, inclusive, drawn July 25, 1919, in favor of Speer & Dow, for jp1000.00 each, date of maturity July 25, 1920; and, ' hereas , the holders of said warrants have requested their reissue to R. G. Helbron, of Little 1rk€nsas, but payable to bearer; 'and, 'fhereas, this council has carefully investigated the validity and the amount of the indebtedness for which each of said warrants was issued; and, '.1hereas, this council has ascertained that the said war- rants are the legal and binding obligations of the City of Little Rock; row, Therefore, It is hereby ascertained end declared that said warrants are valid and existing obligations of said city, and therefore: BE IT ORDAINED BY 7-117, CITY COU11 C I L OF THE CITY OF LI TT IE ROCKO. Section 1.
