BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIaa OF THE CITY O • DITTZE ROC'S:
Section 1. That the ov;ner or owners of property abut-
ting the west side of Forth Tyler Street, for a distance of four
blocks south of the intersection of said 111orth Tyler Street with
Prospect .�venyie, be and they are hereby required to build,
within days from the passage of this ordinance,
and to thereafter maintain, a sidewalk and curbing along such
property cohere the same abuts upon the west side of said street
for the four blocks above named, of the material,and accordin to
the specifications, and in the manner outlined and provided for
in Section 1281 of Hales Digest of the City Ordinance of Kittle
Rock, and subject to the approval of the Superintendent of Public
corks.
Section 2. anyone failing to comply with the T)rovi-
si ons of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum riot less than five
nor more than twenty -five dollars for each offense, and each day
after the expiration of the period above giver_ in vnich said side-
walks are not laid shall constitute a separate offense under this
ordinance.
Section 3. nll ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herevri.th are hereby repealed, and this ordirir--nce shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
