Section 1. That ;,:ereafter, before the business of hiring,
leasing or renting automobiles shall be carried on in the City of
Little �:ocx,L a license fee shall be Paid as follows:
(a) each business maintaining four or less automobiles
for rent or hire, per year ...... ...................... oo

(b) Each business maintaining more than four automobiles
for rent or hire, per year,... ... ...
Provided, this ordinance shall apply only to the renting, leasing
or hiring of auto:�iobiles without drivers and shall not apply to
any jitney, taxicab or other business where drivers are furnishe&
d th cars leased, rented or hired.
Section 2. she provisions of this ordinance shall be
construed as cumulative as to any other 'License ordinance or or-
dinances, and the manner, time and place of payment, and the is-
nuance of permit hereunder, shall be governed by, and seid li-
cense shall be collected in the manner prescribed in, Ordinance
%o. 2588, passed July 28, 1919.
Section 3. Any person, firm, corporation or individual
vio ; ating any provision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shail be fined in
any sum not less than y5.00 and costs nor more than .';100.00, and
payment of the fine or penalty shall not be satisfied by the pay-
ment of such license after said fine is imposed, but the amount

of such license shall be deemed a debt due the City of Little
Rock and may be recovered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Section 4. All ordinances and -carts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
