BE IT ORDAIN77D BY THIS: CITY COTTICIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE': ROCP:
Section 1: That hereinafter the printing fees on
any proposed Ordinance wherein is contained a grant of a fran-
chise or any special privilege to any person, firm or corpora-
tion or any notices or other papers to be published in connec-
tion with the organization or administration of Improvement
Districts shall be paid by the person or persons presenting
same to the City Clerk as hereinafter provided before being
submitted to the City Council.
Section 2: In ech case where a proposed Ordinance
containing a grant of a franchise or or anti >r special privile "e to
any person, firm or corporation`�of any proposed Ordinance or
notices or advertisements necessary in connection with the
organization or administrat` on of any improvement district is
file4vith the City Clerk to be presented to the City Council,
the City Clerk shall estimate the cost of printing end certify
to the City Collector the amount of printing fee to be paid and
it shall be the duty of the City Collector to collect the amount
so certified to him which shall be deposited by s�,:id Collector
in the general revenue f d f the City.
Section 3: In all nstances where the City Clerk
has estimated the printing cost and the amount is found to be
insufficient to pay for said printing, he shall charge same
against
the
person,
firm, corporation
or improvement district
as the
case
may be,
and give notice to
the City Collector of
said amount due, wherein the City Collector shall proceed to
collect s,:me. If, on the contrary, the amount of printing
fees paid is in excess of the cost of printing, the City
Clerk will render a bill in favor of the person, firm, corpora-
tion or improvement district to whom same is due to the City
Council, where said bill will be allowed and ordered paid if
found correct.
Section 4: All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby reperled and this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
