ORDINANCE N0. 2754.
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE CONSTRUCTION 0' SIDEWALKS 0111 PARK AVE-
NUE, BETWEEN 13TH AiD 14TH STREETS, AND FOR
0 THER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the owner or owners of any real prop-
erty abutting upon either side of Par.; Avenue, from 13th Street to
14th Street, be and they are hereby required to build, within
sixty days from the passage of this ordinance, and to maintain, a
sidewalk and curbing along such property where the same abuts upon
the above street between the points named, of the kind and materia
and of the specifications now required by city ordinance, and
subject to the inspection and acceptance of the City Engineer.
Section 2. It shall be the duty of the City Engineer,
if the grade for said walks and curving has not heretofore been
established or given to said property owners, to furnish to each
property owner, or said owner's agent, or the tenant occupying
said premises, within ten days from the date of the passage of
this ordinance, the grade to which said sidewalks and curbing
shall be laid.

Section 3. The failure or refusal of any /owners of
said property to comply with the provisions of this ordinance
within the time specified shall be deemed a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof in the Municipal Court, said owner or owners

shall be fined in any sum not less than „25.00 nor more than
050.00, and each day of such failure or refusal after the expira-
tion of said sixty -day period shall constitute a separate offense
and shall be punished accordingly.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
.in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
