An Ordinance assessing the value of benefits to be re-
ceived by the owners of each of the several blocks, lots and par-
cels of land within Sewer and PZumbingADistrict No. 289 of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
WEEREAS, a majority in value of the property owners
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated

within Sewer and ?lumbingtUistrict No. 289 of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of improving,by doing the
necessary storm sewer, sanitary sewer and plumbing work, together
with the required grading and excavation therefor the streets set
out in their petition, have petitioned the City Council of Little
Roc's for the construction of said improvement, and that the cost
thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said dis-
trict according to benefits received; and
MREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated within said district equals
or exceeds the local assessment thereolk; an(.
WHEREAS, the ;stimated- cost of said improvement is
X10,000.00; Therefore
BE IT 01RDAIPTE7J by the City Council of Little Rock, Ark:
SECTION 1; That the said several blocks, lots and par
eels of real property within said Sewer and Plumbing Improvement
District Ido. 289 be, and they are hereby assessed according to the
assessment list as the same now remains in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Little Rock, ana as the same may be annually
readjusts -y the Board of Assessors, and that ten per centum (10 %)
ofsaid assessment of the value of the benefits of each of said lots,
.
blocks and parcels of land shall be paid annually on or before
the 15th day of February of each year until the whole of said
assessment shall have been paidq The first installment of said
assessment shall be paid on or before the 15th day of February,
1921.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are repealed, and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage.
