FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

Section 1. That the owner or owners of property abut-
ting the south side of Lee avenue, from the west side of the
intersection of Fairfax Avenue westerly to a line made by the ex-
tension of the west property line of ,Lot 1, H. Adams Addition, ex-
tended north, across said .Lee Avenue, be and they are hereby re-
quired to build, within ninety days from the passage of this ordi-
nance, and to thereafter maintain, a sidewalk and curbing along
such property where the same abuts upon the south side of said
street for said distance, of the material, and according to the
specifications, and in the manner outlined End provided for in
Section 1281 of Hate's Digest of the City 0-rdinences of Little
Rock, and .subject to the approval of the Superintendent of Public
Works.
Section. Anyone failing to comply with the provisions
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than five nor
more than twenty -five dollars for each offense, and each day after
the expiration of the period above given in which said sidewalks
are not laid shall constitute a separate offense under this or-
dinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and_ be in force from and after its passage.
