AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE KLYOR tiND C ITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A .;EASE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY WITH THE G. G. WOOD
COA;:, COPvTPANY FOR A RIGHT -OF -WAY ACROSS THE LOWER END OF
BROADWAY STREET, AID FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE Ii ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNOIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCE:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized anal directed, on behalf of the City, to execute a
lease, conveying to the G. G. Wood Coal Company, for a period of
ten years, a right -of -way across Broadway Street, between 7later
Street and the River, for a consideration of Twenty -five Dollars
($25.00) per year. Provided, however, provision shall be inserted
in said lease per�2itting tts termination at such time as the City
Council may deem traffic upon Broadway Street sufficiently dense
to warrant the removal of said tracks.
Section 2. till ordinances End parts of o rdi
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from €nd after its passage.
