':Jhereas, persons claiming to be a majority in value
of the owners of real property within the territory hereinafter
described, which property adjoins Curb, Gutter and Plumbing
Improvement District No. 295 of Little Rock, Art-ansa;s, 2 duly
created and existing improvement district in said City, desire
to be added to and included in slid improvement district, and
have filed a petition with -the City Council of Little Rock
praying that said territory be anne_'-ea to said improvement dis-
trict and have designated the nature of the improvement to be
unaertahen, and have described the territory to be annexed, and-
Whereas. the City-, Council has directed the City Clerk to publish
for two weeks in some newspaper issued and having a general cir-
culation in Pulaski County a notice calling upon the property
owners within said territory to appear before this Council on
this day and show cause for or against such annexation, and
Whereas, such notice has been duly published and this is the
time fixed in said notice for the hearing to determine whether
those signing said petition constitute a majority in value of
the owners of reel property in said territory, and
Whereas, this Council has heard all persons who de-
sire to be heard upon the question of :whether the signers of
said petition constitute a ma jority in v °`=1ue of the owners of
real property within said territory sought to be annexed.
TI1EREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the
Cite of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SEC`ION 1: That this Council has ascertained that the

the City of yittle Rock, Arkansas, constitute - majority in
value of the owners of reel property within the territory
sought to be annetied, and that staid petition for the annexation
of said territory is in due form and property signed by a major-
ity of the owners of real property as required by laws.
SECTIOU 2: That lots 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 of Block 6, any.
lots 7 , 8, 9 ,10,11 and 12 of Bloch: 11 all in 1--imba11' s South Part:
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be and they are
hereby added to and annexed to Curb, Gutter and Plumbing Improve-
ment district Too. 295 of Little Rock, and are - part of said im-
provement district, and the commissioners of said district shall
proceed to make the improvements petitioned for by draining,
curbing, guttering and doing the necessary plumbing on Gaines

Street from the Tlorth property line of .lest Thirtieth Street
to the forth property line of ,Test Thirty -first Street in the
same manner and.with the same materials and according to the
same plans and specifications that have been adopted or may
hereafter be adopted by them for said Curb,'Gutter and
ing Improvement District No. 295.
SLCTION 3: That the commissioners shall make the as-
sessments of benefits for said improvement on the lots in the
territory to be annexed on the sage basis as if said territory
was included in the original district and shall file slid as-
sessment with ti:e City Clerk.
SLCTI01i 4: That all ordinances in conflict here:rith
are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage, and the City Clerk is
hereby ordered within twenty days after the passage of this
ordinance to publish the same in some newspaper published in
