Ordinance. No. 2779.
An ordinance appripriating the sung of eight hundred
and seventy dollars for the purchase of an automobile for
i the Street Department.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the
,'City of Little Rock:

Section one. The sum of eight hundred and seventy dollars
or as much thereof as may be necessary is hereby appropriated
j,out of any money in the city treasury not =otherwise appropriated,
to be expended by the Board of Public Affairs, for the purchase
fof an automobile for the street department and said board may
apply, in addition thereto, upon the purchase price thereof or
trade in thereupon, the old car which said car is to replace.
j Section two. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
(;conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall

be in full force and effect from and after its passage.

In answer to your request in regard to a trade of your
old Dodge Brothers Roadster on a new one, we wish to
advise that the price of a new Dodge Brothers Roadster
delivered in Little Rock is $1370.00. We will allow
you $500.00 in trade on a new Roadster, making a bal-
ance of $870.00 to be paid in City Warrants on or be-
fore the 10th day of May 1921.
