An ordinance laying off a certain portion of the City
of Little Rock,Arkansas,into a Street Improvement District,and
designating the boundaries trereof,said district to be known as
"Street Improvement District No.S.O-L."
7hereas, more than ten owners of real property within
that portion of the City of Little Rock.,hereinafter set forth,have
petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,to
take steps toward the making of local improvements therein by $$$
grading ,draining,curbing,guttering and paving in such manner and
with such materials as the commissioners of said district shall
determine to be for the best interests of the district,,the following
streets:
'crest Markham Street from its intersection with Prospect
Avenue west to the east property line of The Ridgeway; and
The Ridgeway from the south pro perty line of West Markham
Street to the south property line of Lee Avenue.
Therefore, Be it ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock,Arkansas:
Section 1. That Street Improvement District No.5o � of
the City of Lithe Rock,Arkansa s be and the same is hereby created
and established for the purpose of making local improvements therein
by grading ,draining,curbing,guttering and paving *if in such manner
and with such materials as the commissioners of said district shall
determine to be for the best interests of the district,the follow-
ing streets:
West Markham Street from its intersection with Prospect
Avenue west to the east property line of The Ridgeway; and
The Ridgeway from the south property line of Test Markham
Street to the south property line of Lee Avenue.
all in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas, in accordance with the
Act of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas,entitled, "An
act to regulate local improvements in cities of the first class ",
approved March 22,1881 and the amendments thereto; That the
boundaries of said district shall include the following property:
Lots 1,2,3,22,23 and 24 of Blocks 2,3 and 4 of Chas.S.
StifftTs Addition to the City of Little Rock.
Lots 1,2 and 3 of Block 1 of C.H.Taylor's Addition to
the City of Little Rock.

Lots 6 to 15 inclusive of Block 6; Lots 14 to 35 in-
clusive of Block 13; Lots 19 to 37 inclusive and Lot "A"
of Block 12; Lots 1 to 16 inclusive and Lot "B" of Block
15; and Lots 1 to 14 inclusive of Block 141 all in Midland
Hills Addition.to the City of Little Rock.
A tract of land described as follows: Begin at the
north quarter c- rner,j/ Section 5,Township 1 North,Range
12 Yest,thence south 30 feet,thence east 166 feet to point
of beginning,thence east 159 feet,thence south 121 feet,
thence north fifty -six and one -half degrees west 150 feet,
thence north forty -one degrees west 50 fe=et to point of
beginning.
A tract of land described as follows: From the north
quarter corner,Section 5, Tovrn -uhip 1 North,Range 12 West,
run south 30 feet to point of beginning, thence east 96
feet, thence south forty -one degrees east 103 feet, thence
south fifty -six and one -half degrees east 190 feet,thence
south 180 feet, thence north fifty -six and one -half degrees
west 313 feet, thence north forty -one degrees west 98 feet
to the half section line of Section 5,thence north along
said half section line 160 feet to point of beginning.
Section 2. That the improvement herein provided for
shall not exceed in cost sixty per centum (60%) of the value of the
real property in said district as shown by the last county assess-
ment.
Section 3. That all ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, and the city clerk is hereby
ordered within 20 days after the passage of this ordinance to pub-
lish the same in some newspaper published in the City of Little
Rock for one insertion.
