ORDINANCE N0. 2832•
An ordinance assessing the value of benefits to be
received by the owners of each of the several blocks, lots, par-
cels and other subdivisions of land within Curb and Gutter Improve-
ment District No.304 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property owners
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected. and situated
within Curb and Gutter Improvement District No.304 of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making
local improvements therein by draining, curbing and guttering
the street set out in their petition, having petitioned the City
Council of Little Rpck for the construction of the improvement
and that the cost thereof shbll be assessed upon the real property
within said district according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot, parcel and other subdivision of real property situated within
said °istrict equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$11,300;
THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TEE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION Z. That the several blocks, lots, parcels and
other subdivisions of real property within said Curb and Gutter
Improvement District No.304 be, and they are hereby assessed
according to the assessment list for said improvement district as
the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk in the City
of Little IRIock, after having been revised by the assessors of said
improvement district in compliance with the directions of the
City Council therefor, and as the same may be annually readjusted
by the Board of Assessors, and that eight per centum (8°j) of said
assessment of the value of the benefits on each of said blocks,
lots, parcels and other subdivisions of land shall be paid annually
on or before the 15th day of September of each year until the
whole of said assessment shall have been paid. The first annual
payment shall be made on or before the 15th day of September, 1921.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
