An ordinance assessing the value of the benefits to
be received by the owners of each of several blocks, lots, parcels
and other subdivisions of land within Street Improvement District
No.305 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
IHMEAS, a majority in value of the property owners
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated
within` Street Improvement District No. 305 of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making local improve-
ments therein by grading and paving in such manner and with such
materials as the commissioners of said district shall determine
to be for the best interest of the district, the street set out
in their petition, have petitioned the City Council of Little
Rock for the construction of said improvement and that the cost
thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said district
according to the benefits received; and
,VHERI;AAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot, parcel and other subdivision of real property situated within
said district equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
$11,400.
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
THERRFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the said several hlockd, lots, parcels
and other subdivisions of real property within said Street Improve -
ment District No.305 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be, and
they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for

said improvement district as the same now remains in the office
of the City Clerk in the City of little Rock after having been
revised by the assessors of said district in compliance with the
directions of the City Council therefor, and as the same may be
annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that eight per
centum (8%) of said assessment of the value of the benefits on
each of said blocks, lots, parcels and other subdivisions of land
shall be paid annually on or before the 15th day of September
of eac <: year until the whole of said assessment shall have been
paid. The first annual payment shall be made on or before the
15th day of September, 1921.
SECTI CN 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
