Pressing Necessities of the City of Little Rock.

Whereas, the C_i y f Little Rock must borrow money tip- - -:
replenish the
fund so as to pay the policQ, fire and. other de-
partments, and ,
Vihereas, there are no funds in the treasury available
for these purposes and the Little Rock Clearing House Association
is willing to lend. the sung of 1,50 ,000.00 to the City of Little
Rock for said purposes; arid,
�:d'nereas, it is absolutely necessary to the public wel-
fare that said sum be borrowed. to maintain the city government,

BE IT ORDAI'= BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock borrow from
the Little Rock Clearing House Association the sum of x50,000.00,
giving its warrants therefor, in such denor.Linations as the said
Little Rock Clearing House Association may demand; $25,000.00 of
1921,
said warrants shall be dated August 15thVa,nd 125,000.00 of said
Currants shall be dated September 15th, 1921, and all of said
warrants shall mature upon April 1, 1922, and shall be payable to
the Little -mock Clearing ?Touse Association or bearer; and the
la'Ayor and City .Clerk are hereby directed to execute said warrants
