2851ORDINANCE NO. 2851. .,r.___ AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF THE CITY OF LIT-LE ROCK INTO A STREET IYPROVEMENT DISTRICT, TO BE KNOWN AS S"_'REET I-111'ROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 308 • WHEREAS, more than ten oAners of real property within that por- tion of Little Rock, Pulaski County and State of Arkansas, hereinafter described, have petitioned tine City Council to take steps towards the rraking of local improvements in the C ty of Little Rock by forming the territory hereinafter described into an 1_trprovement di strict for the purf..oses hereinafter :.et out: Therefore, Pe it ordained by the C' ty Council of the City of Little Rock: Section 1. That Street Improvement District No. 308 of the City of Little Rock be and the sage is hereby created and established for tyre purpose of laying a�' Asph zlt, or Asphaltic Concrete pavement on Vest T went y- fourt:: Street from the East line of High Street to the Test line of Battery Street; to provide for drainage where nec- essary, and for the purpose of doing any and all other work necessary and incidental to The said paving and draining, in accordance wj.th an act of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas, entitled "An Act to regulate the manner of ac.sessing real property for local improvements in cit .cs of the first class," approved 1esch 22, 1,�i$l,and amendedments t sreto. That the boundaries of said district be designated as a line em- bracing all of the following real property, to -:mit: All that property lying 150 ft North of the North Line and 150 ft South of ttie South line of TeSt m enty- fourth Street from the East Line of High Street to the Vest Li.ne of Battery Street. Section 2. That alp ordinances and parts of ordinnces in conflict herew,.th are hereby repealed and said ordinances shall take effect from and after Its passage, and the city clerk is hereby ordered within twenty ,days from date of its passage ~o publish same in some newspaper published in the City af Little Rock for one insertion.
