An Ordinance Requiring the Construction of Sidewalks upon 'tre "VIest
Side of Brown Street from the South Side of i.Tarkham Street to
tree North Side of Second. Street, land for other purposes.
BE, IT ORDAIIIED DY T71E CITY COUPCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the owner or owners of real property
abutting the west side of Brown Street, from the south side of
1. arhham Street to the north side of Second Street, be and the7T tire;
hereby rer,aired to build, 1 ithi.n ninety days from the passage of
this ordinance, and to thereafter n:F.intain, sidewaltis along such
property where the sane abuts upon tale west side of said street
bet -ween the points named, according to the specifications and in
t'r_e manner outlined and I)rovid_ed for in Section 1281 of Fale's Di-
Best of t'r_e City Ordint;nces of Little Rock, and sub ect to t,,(-,
proval of the superintendent of public works.
Section L. anyone failing to conf)ly with the provisions;
of .this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemes.nor and' unor'
conviction, shall be :fined in <ny sum riot less than `5.00 ror -ore
than A'25.00 for each offense, and each dad- -after the expiration of!
the period above given in v,hich said sidewalh-s are not laid shall
constitute a separate offense under this ordinance.
Section 3. 11.11 ordinances ani parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, are l'.erebl- repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect Ana be in force from and after its passage.
