AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES HERETOARE PASSED
BY THIS COUNCIL FOR OR IN, CON ECTION WITH THE ORGINIZATION
OF CURB AND GUTTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT PIO. 269,ATID PAVIIIG
OR STREET IMPROVEI:224T DISTRICT NO.270.
WHEREAS,it has developed and been demonstrated that street
improvement districts Nos. 269 & 270, one being a curb and
gutter district, the other a paving district, both for the
improvement of Cedar Street, cannot make or carry out the
improvement contemplated at the time of their organization
on account of the fact that the cost thereof is too.great,
and exceeds the benefits to be derived by the property
owners within said districts,
NOW TN.EREFORE, BE IT ORDAIIIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. All ordinances and resolutions heretofore passed
by this council for the organization of or in connection with
the above described districts, Nos. 269 & 270, for the im-
provement of Cedar Street, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed, and it is the sense of this council that a receiver
be appointed in the Pulaski Chancery Court to wind up the
affairs of both of said districts, the same having been
demonstrated and proven impracticable .
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage.
