2890w < p r" ORDINANCE NO. 2890 An ordinance assessing the value of the benefits to be received by the owners of each of several blocks, lots, parcels and other subdivisions of land within Street Improvement Ustrict No. 302 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated within Street Improvement District No. 302 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making local improve- ments therein by grading and paving with concrete, asphaltic con- crete, sheet asphalt or with such materials, and it such manner as the commissioners of said district shall determine to be for the best interests of the district, the streets set out in their petition, have petitioned the City Council of Little Rock for the construction of said improvement and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said district according to the benefits received; and ''HEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot, parcel and other subdivision of real property situated within said district equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and THEKEAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is V26,216.00 THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION l: That the said several blocks, lots, parcels and other subdivisions of real property „within said Street Improvement Listrict No. 302 of the City of -ittle Rock, Arkansas be, and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said improve- ment district as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of Little Rock and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board N 01 of Assessors, and that eight per centum (8�c) of said assessment of the value of the benefits on each of said blocks, lots, parcels and other subdivisions of land shall be paid annually on or before the lst day of March of each year until the whole of said assessment shall have been paid. The first annual payment shall be made on or before the 1st day of March, 1922. SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
