An Ordinance Requiring the Laying of Sidewalks along Both Sides of
Seventh Street, from Main Street to Cove Street, and for
other purposes.
BE IT ORDA IIT0 BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the owner or owners of property abut-
ting Seventh Street, from Main Street to Cove Street, be
and they are hereby required to build, within ninety days from the
passage of this ordinance, and to thereafter maintain, a sidewalk
and curbing along such property where the same abuts upon said
street between said points, of the material, and according to
the specifications, and in the manner outlined and provided for in
Section 1281 of Hale's Digest of the City Ordinances of the City
of Little Rock, and subject to the approval of the superintendent
of public works.
Section 2. Anyone failing to comply with the provisions
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon
conviction, shall be fined in any sum not less than ?5.00 nor more
than t25.00 for each offense, and each day after the expiration
of the period above given in which said sidewalks are not laid
shall constitute a separate offense under this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
