RDINANCE NO. 29,59
An Ordinance for the Better Safety of the Public, Providing for
Parking Spaces Before Churches, Hotels, Theaters and Picture
Shows, and for other purposes.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. No person, firm or corporation shall park or
cause to be parked any automobile, truck, wagon, buggy, or vehi-
cle of any description, either motor - driven or otherwise, in
front of the main entrance of any church, hotel, theater or pic-
ture show within the limits of the City of Little Rock, except
momentarily, for the purpose of loading or unloading passengers.
The space along the curbs and in front of said main entrances
shall be kept clear and free of cars and other vehicles for a
distance of fifty feet, measuring twenty -five feet each way from
the center of said main entrance.
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation parking or
causing to be parked any such vehicle within the space above de-
fined or in any way violating this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in any sum not less
than $5.00 nor more than 50.00.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, an3 this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
