ORDINANCE NO. 2 968
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE
NO. 2918, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
MUREAS, it has been suggested. to the City Council of
the City of Little Rock by the Commissioners of Street Improve-
ment District No. 307 of the City of Little Rock, that in the
making and compiling of the list of assessments for said district
heretofore .filed in the office of the City Clerk, by the assessors
of said district, an error was made in extending the assessments
whereby the amounts of such assessments were made vague and
uncertain; and,
W??RREAS, said assessors have prepared another list of
such assessments correcting s €:yid error and curing said vagueness
and uncertainty and showing correctly and clearly the assessments
against the various blocks, lots or parcels or other subdivisions
of real property in said district, and said assessors desire the
permission of the City Council to file said assessment list in
lieu of the original list of assessments heretofore filed:
NOY,, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Courici.l of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That ordinance No. 2918 of the City of Little
Rock, entitled an ordinance assessing the value of the benefits to
be received by the owners of each of several blocks, lots, parcels
and other subdivisions of land within Street Improvement District
No. 307 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and the same is
hereby repealed.
Section 2. That permission is hereby granted the assessor
of Street Improvement District No. 307 to withdraw the original
assessment list heretofore filed, for the purpose of substituting
a new list of assessments made in due and proper form, and the Cit
Clerk and City Collector are hereby instructed to turn over to the
assessors of Street Improvement District No. 307, said original
assessment list of said. Street Improvement District No. 307.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be i
force from and after its passage.
