An Ordinance assessing the value of the benefits to be
received by the owners of each of several blocks, lots, parcels and
other subdivisions of land within Street Improvement uistrict 1%o.
313 of the City of Little Kock, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property owners own-
ing property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated with-
in Street Improvement Listrict No. 313 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making local improvements
therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving in such
manner and with such materials as the commissioners of said district
shall determine to be for the best interests of the district, the
streets set out in their petition, have petitioned the City Council
of Little Rock for the construction of said improvement and that the
cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said dis-
trict according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot, parcel and other subdivision of real property situated within
said district equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is ;47,614.49
THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the said several blocks, lots, parcels and
other subdivisions of real property within said Street Improvement
District No. 313 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be, and they
are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said improve-
ment district as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk
of Little Rock and as the same may be annually readjusted by the

Board of Assessors, and that six and two- thirds per centum (6 -2/3 %)
of said assessment of the value of the benefits on each of said
blocks, lots, parcels and other subdivisions of land shall be paid
annually on or before thexLst day of August of each year until the
whole of said assessment ,hall have been paid. The first annual
payment shall be made on or before the*.st day of August, 1922,
SECTION: 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage.
