AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF THE CITY OF r ;.-
LITTLE ROCK INTO A CURB, GUTTER ANL SIDEWALK IM-
PROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS CURB. GUTTER
AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0.'318 AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, moP4 than ten owners of real property within
that portion of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, hereinafter
described have petitioned the City Council to take steps toward
the making of local improvements therein by forming the territory
hereinafter described into an improvement district for the purpose
hereinafter set out:
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LIT`T'LE ROCK:
SECTION 1: That Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk Improvement
Iistrict No.3_ of the City of Little Rock be, and the same is
hereby created and estgblished for the purpose of grading, draining,
curbing, guttering, building sidewalks along both sides of the streets
hereinafter set out, and installing service connections for each lot
in this district in such manner and with such materials as the eom-
missioners of said district shall determine to be for the best int-
erests of the district, the following streets:
Broadway beginning at its intersection of the south
property line of the Retan Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, south a distance of 330 ft,
and Virginia Place,
in the City of Little hock, Arkansas, in accordance with an act of
the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas entitled "An Act to
Regulate Local Improvements in Cities of the First Class ", approved
March 22,1881, and amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said
district shall include the following property:
Beginring at the intersection of the east property
line of Broadway, produced south, with the north
line of the SW4 of the NW4 of the NE4 of Sec. 15
Twp 1 North, Range 12 West, thence east along said
north line 270 feet, thence due south 1050 feet,
thence due west 480 feet, thence due north 1050
feet to said north line of the SW4 of the NW4 of the
NET- of See.15 of Twp 1 North, Range 12 West, thence
east along said north line 210 feet to point of
beginning.

SECTION 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effeot and be in force from and after its passage, and the
City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from the date of
its passage to publish the same in some newspaper published in the
City of Little Rock for one insertion.
