AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF THE CITY OF J
LITTLE ROCK INTO A STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO
BE KNOWN AS STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 319
AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF. _.
WHEREAS, more than ten owners of real property within
that portion of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, hereinafter
described have petitioned the City Council to take steps toward
the making of local improvements therein by forming the territory
hereinafter described into an improvement district for the purpose
hereinafter set out:
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1: That Street Improvement District No. 319,
of the City of Little Rock be, and the same is hereby created and
established for the purpose of paving in such manner and with such
materials as the commissioners of said district shall determine to
be for the best interests of the district the following streets:
Broadway beginning at its intersection with the
south property line of Retan's Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, south a distance
of 330 ft., and Virginia. Place,
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in accordance with an Act of
the General Assembly of the btate of Arkansas entitled "An Act to
Regulate Local Improvements in Cities of the First Class ", approved
March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said
district shall include the following property:
Beginning at the intersection of the east property
line of Broadway, produced south, with the north
line of the SW: of the NW! of the NE-1 4 of Sec. 15
Twp 1 North, Range 12 West, thence east along said
north lire 270 feet, thence due south 1050 feet,
thence due west 480 feet, thence due north 1050
feet to said north line of the SW, of the N'4 of
the NE! of Sec. 15 60 twp 1 North, Range 12 i "Jest
thence east along said north line 210 feet to
point of beginning,

SECTION 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and the
City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from the date of
its passage to publish the same in some newspaper published in the
City of Little Rock for one insertion.
