ORDINANCE NO. 3093. t
HHDINANCE REQUIRING THE ARKANSAS WATER COMPANY TO LAY WATER
MAINS AND TO INSTALL FIRE HYDRANTS IN PROSPECT TERRACE ADDITION,
AND tOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the streets within Prospect Terrace Addition are soon
to be paved and there is new no water mains along said streets,
and the pavement should not be laid until adequate water mains
with the proper number of fire hydrants, have been installed on
the said streets, and
WHEREAS Mr. Herman Kahn has agreed to advance to the City of
Little Aock, the yearly rental as required by the present
injunction order of the United States District Court, or as
the same may be modified, until such time as the property
has been developed to such an extent that this expense is
rightfully one that the city should pay,
FORE,
NOW TIE,REZBE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE HOOK, ARKANSAS
Section 1. That the Arkansas Water Company be and Is hereby
ordered and directed to extend its water mains not less than
eight dnchW ss,� all lines serving fire hydrants, along streets
in Prospect Terrace Addition, and to install along: said streets
fire hydrants at points designated b y Chief of Fire Department.
Section 2. That the City of Little Rock shall pay rentals on
extensions and fire hydrants set out in the preceeding section
according to the injunction order of the united States District
Court relative to rates now or as same may be hereafter changed.
Section 4- That all ordinance or parts
