ORDINANCE N0.3097.
An ordinance assessing the value of benefits to be
received by the owners of each of the several blocks, lots,
parcels and other subdivisions of land within Curb, Gutter &
Plumbing;.Improvement .District No. 295 of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas,
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property owners
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and sit-
uated within Curb, Gutter and Plumbing Improvement District No.
295 of the City of Little -lock, Arkansas, organized for the pur-
pose of making local improvements therein by draining, curbing,
guttering and doing the necessary plumbing on the streets set
out in their petition, having petitioned the City Council of
Little Rock for the construction of the improvement and that the
cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within
said district according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot, parcel and other subdivision of real property situated --iith-
in said district equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon;
and
17HEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$32,973.00;
THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TH" CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the several blocks, lots, parcels and
other subdivisions of real property within said Curb, Gutter and
Plumbing Improvement District No. 295 be, and they are hereby
assessed according to the assessment list for said improvement

district as the same now remains in the office of the City
Clerk in the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be
annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that ten
per centum (10%) of said assessment of the value of the bene-
fits on each of said blocks, lots, parcels and other subdivisions
of land shall be paid annually on or before the 1st day of March
of each year until the whole of said assessment shall have been
paid. The first annual payment shall be made on or before the
lst day of March, 1923,
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
