An Ordinance Laying Off a Certain Portion Of the City Of Little
Rock,Arkansas,into a Local Improvement District and Designating
the Boundaries Thereof,said District To Be Known As Street
Improvement District No. 341 of The City Of Little Pock,
Arkansas.
Whereas,ten or more owners of real property within the
bounds herein mentioned have petitioned the City Council of
the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,to take steps toward the making
of local improvements therein by grading, draining gutt-erirg and
paving in such manner and with such materials as the commission-
ers of said district shall determine to be for the best interest
of the district,all that portion of Markham Street from the Vest
property line of Fain Street to the East property line of
Victory Street:
i! Therefore,be it Ordained by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock,Arkansas.:
Section 1. That Street Improvement District D ?o. =x41- of the City
of Little Rock,Arkansas,be and the same hereby is crea.ted,laid
out and established for the purpose of grading,drainirig,gutter-
ing and paving in such manner and with such materials as the
commissioners of said district shall determine to be for the
best interests of the district;Yarkham Street from the West
property line of gain Street to the East property line of
Victory Street,ir_ said City of Little Rock,Arkansac,in accor
dance with an Act To Regulate the manner of Assessing real
property for local improvement in dities of the first and sec
and class approved March 22nd,1881,and amendments thereto.
Section 2. That the district hereby created,la:id out and establi
shed shall include that portion of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, embraced within the boundaries herein described as
follows:
North half of Block 78 South half of Block 79
North half of Block 81 South half of Block 80
Old State House Grounds;particula.rly described as
Beginning at the SEcorner of Old State House grounds, "being a
part of the Section 3 Township 1 North Range 12 West,sxd
lying between Ashley and Conway Streets,ard Karkham and the
South -jank of the Arkansas River" Thence North 150 feet,Thence
West to Con,-ay Street on the West property line of said above
tract of land,thence South 150 feet,thence East to the point
of beginning,along the North property line of Markham Street;

Section 3. That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in con-
flict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed and thie Ordinance
shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passafip
and publication; and the City Clerk of Little Rock,Arkaneas,is
hereby ordered within twenty days from the passage of this
(Qrdirance to publish the same in some newspaper in the City of
,,Little Rock,Arkansas,forone(1) insertion.
