AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING VALUE OF THE B=FITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE
SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND PARCELS OF TAND WITHIN
THE 7'OLFB ST:3EET AiJNEX TO STREET Il1PROVEMUT
DISTRICT N0. 308 OF THE CITY C' LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS
V,HEREAS, a majority of the owners of real property
adjoining the locality to be affected and situated within the
Wolfe Street Annex to Street Improvement District No. 308 of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, said property being described as
follows:
The West half of block twenty -one (21) , Fleming
& Bradford's Addition; the Pest half of blocks
twelve (12) and thint�en (13), Braddock's Blvd.
Addition; the East half of block eight (8), Oak
Terrace Addition; and the East half of blocks
nine (9), one (1) and eight (8), 11ScCarthyls Ad-
dition to the City of Little Rock, --Pulaski Coun-
ty, Arkansas,
organized and annexed for the purpose of making local improve-
ments therein by doing the necessary draining and paving with the
material and in the manner that the commissioners of said Street
Improvement District No. 308 ::hall deem to be for the best inter-
est of the territory annexed, on Wolfe Street from the South prop -
exty line of West 24th Street to the North curb line of Test 27th
Street, have petitioned the city, council of Little Bock for the
construction of said improvement and that the cost thereof shall
be assessed upon the real property within said annexed territory
according to the benefits received;
WHEREAS, said benefits reTeived by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated within said annexed ter-
ritory equals or exceeds the legal assessment thereon;
1- 14HEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement ex-
elusive of interest, is $16,900.00, which together with the es-
timated cost of the improvement in Street Improvement District
No. 308 is less than fifty per cent (5CP/o) of the value of the
real property in said district No. 308, and the annexed territory
combined, as shown by the last county assessment; and is less

than fifty per cent (50%) of the value of the r eai property ih
said annexed territory, as shown by the last county assessment;
THEREFORE IT IS NOT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARYANSAS:
Section 1: That the said several blocks, lots and
parcels of real property within said Golfe Street Annexed ter-
ritory to Street Improvement District No. 308, be, and they are
hereby assessed according to the assessment list for adid Volfe
Street Annex to said Improvement District, as the same now re-
mains in the office of the city clerk of the City of Little Rock,
and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of As-
sessors, and that ten per centum of said assessment of the value
of the benefits of each of said blocks, lots and ;)arcels of land
shall be paid annually on or before the 15th day of Larch of each
year until the whole of said assessment shall have been paid. The
first annual payment shall be made on or before the 15th day of
March, 1923.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances

be in full force and effect from and after its passage
