WHE_:,. AS, there is now no provision whereby the records of the City Collector, as a-k ex- officio for the Improvement Dis- tricts for the City of Little Rock shall show the payments of assess- menu in those Districts after they have been reported delinquent by C0d&C the-City C14-rk, ant ' WHEREAS, it is necessary for the protection of the property owners in the various Improvement Districts that their records show all payments of delinquent assessments,, THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE: CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1: That the commissioners of all existing Improvement Districts in the City of Little Rock be, and they are hereby required, within 60 days after the publication of this ordinmce, to report to the City Collector of the City of Little Rock all collections of de- linquent assessments made by them up to the date of said publication. SECTION 2: That the commissioners of all Improvement Districts in the City of Little Rock are required to report to the City Collec- tor all collections of delinquent assessments made by them,on and after the date of publication of this ordinance within 30 days after such collection. SECTION 3: Upon receiving a report of the collection of any delinquent assessment, the City Collector is hereby directed to enter a record of such collection in the assessment book of the Improvement District for which the collection was made. SECTION 4: Any commissioner violating any provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a -misdemeanor and upon conviction • r r ,b w shall be fined in any sum not less than Five Dollars nor and more than Twenty Five Dollars, / each and every failure to ai report the collection of taie delinquent assessment shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 5: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby relpealed and this ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage.
