ORDINANCE NO. -
AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF THE BENEFITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE 0 vWERS OF EACH OF THE
SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS, PARCELS AND OTHER SUB-
DIVISIONS OF LAND WITHIN STREET IIJIPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NU11BER 332 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
> "JHEREAS, a majority in value of the property
owners owning property adjoining the locality to be
affected and situated within Street Improvement
District Number 332 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making local
improvements therein by grading and paving (but not
curbing, guttering or draining) with gravel, asphalt,
macadam, concrete, or any other material which the
commissioners may deem best, Laurel Street from
Markham Street to Lee Avenue, as set out in their
petition, having petitioned the City Council of
Little Rock for the construction of the improve-
ment and that the cost thereof shall be assessed
upon the real property within said district, accord-
ing to the 0enefits received; and,
dHr�REAS, said benefits received by each and
every block, lot, parcel and other sub - division
of real property situated within said district
equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and,
WHEnEAS, the estimated cost of said improvement
is $6,635.00;
THEREFORE, it is now ordained by the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots, parcels,
and other subdivisions of real property within said

Street Improvement District Number 332 of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and they are hereby
assessed according to the assessment list for said
improvement district as tl,e same now remains in the
office of the City Clerk in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, and as the same may be annually readjusted
by the Board of Assessors, and that ten per centum
of said assessment of the value of the benefits on
each of said blocks, lots, parcels and other sub-
divisions of land shall be paid annually on or before
the first day of July of each year until the whole
of said assessment shall have been paid. The first
annual payment shall be made on or before the first
day of July, 1923.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
