"'!�'R?AS, a majority in value, of the property owners
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated
within Curb, Gutter & Sidewalk Improvement District No. 318 of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making
local im )rovements therein by grading, draining, curbing, gutter-
ing and building sTde-aalks along both sides of the street herein-
after set out, and installing service connections for each lot in
said District in such manner and , ?ith such materials as the com-
missioners of said District shall determine to be for the best
interest of the District on streets set out in their petition,
have petiti ned the City Council of Little .ock for the construc-
tion of said improvements, and that cost thereof shall be assessed
upon the real property within said District according to the bene-
fits received; and,

lot and parcel of real property :situated within said District equalq
or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and

Section 1: That the s =aid several blocs, lots and par-
eels of real property in said Curb, Gutter & Sidewalk Improvement
District No. 318 be, and they are hereby assessed according to the
assessment list for said imiorove -cent district as the same now re-
mains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little lock,
and as the same may be annually re- adjusted by the Board of Assess-
ors, and that ten per centum of said assessment of value of benefits

of each of said blocks, lots and parcels of land shall be paid
annually on or before the 15th day of April of each year until
One Hundred per centum of said assessment shall have been paid.
The first annual payment shall be made on or before the 15th day
of April, 1923.
Section 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict here !ith ere hereby repealed ',nd
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
