AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,IIT;TO A LOCAL IMPROMIENT DISTRICT AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNDS THEPMEOF,SAID DISTRICT TO BE MOWN AS
STREET IMPROVIMMT- DISTRICT 310, 3_ 49 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
ARKAiISAS.
WHEREAS, ten or more owners of reel property within thx
bounds herein mentioned have petitioned the City Council of the
City of Little Rock,Arkansas,to take steps toward the making
of local improvements therein by gra,ding,draining, curbing,
guttering and paving with Concrete,Creosoted Wood Blocks,
Brick or Warrenite Bituli.thic,or arV other material which the
commissioners of said district may deem for the best interests
of the district,all that portion of the following streets in
the City of Little Roek,Arkansas,as follows:
Summit Avenue from the
North property line of Tenth(l0th) Street to the South property
line of Severith(7th) Street;and Nintla.(gth) Street from the West
property line of Battery Street to the property line of
Schiller Avenue;
Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIM CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTM ROCK,ARKANSAS
SEC`"ION 1. That Street Improvement District No. 3_._49
of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,be, and the same hereToy is,
created,laid out and established for the purpose of grading,
draining,curbing,guttering and paving with Concrete,Creosoted
Wood B1ocks,Brick or Warrenite Bitulithic,or any other material
whici the co.. issioners of said district may deem best for the
best interests of the district,all that portion of the follow.
ing streets,
Summit Avenue from the North property line of
Tenth(lOth) Street to the South property line of Seventh(7th)
Street; and Ninth Street (gth from the West property line of
Battery Street to the XG 4Lperty line of Schiller Avenue,in
the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,in accordance with an Act of
the General Assembly of the State of Arkansa,s,entitled "An Act
to Regulate the 4anner of Assessing Real Property for Local
Improvements in the Cities of the First and Second Class"
Approved March 22nd,1881,and amendments thereto.
aection 2.That the district hereby created laid out
and established shall include that portion of the City of Little
Rock,Arkansas embraced within the boundaries herein described,
as follows:Ali property bounding and abutting on the Streets
to be improved,as set out in Section One(1) hereof,and running
back therefrom for a distance of 150 feet,
Section 30 That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances
in conflict with this Ordinans* are hereby repealed,and this
Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage and publication; and the City Clerk is hereby ordered
within Twenty(PO) days from the passage of this Ordinance to
publish same in some Newspaper of general circulation in the
City of Little Roek,Arkaneas,for one insertion.
