TRICT NC.. 314, OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANPAS.
Whereas, persons claiming to be a majority in value of the owners
of reel property within the territory hereinafter described, which
property adjoins Street Improvement District No. 314 of Little Rock,
Arkansas, a duly created and existing improvement district in said
city, desire to be added to and included in said improverent district
and have filefa petition with the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, praying that said territory be annexed to said improvement
district and have designated the nature of the improvement to be
undertaken, and have described the territory to be annexed, and

heard upon the question of whether the signers of said petition
constitute a majority in value of the owners of real property with-
in said territory sought to be annexedu
Therefore, be it ordained by the City rcuncll of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1: That this Council has ascertained that the si=rnere of
the petition to annex the pro -erty hereinafter described to
Street Improvement District No. 314, of the City o¢ Little Rock,
Arkansas, cr.nstitu`e a majority in value of the,cwners of real
property within the territory sought to be ;:annexed, nd that said
Petition for bhe annexation of spid territory is in due form

and properly signed by majority of the owners of real property

Section 2:
That Lots 1,2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, in Block 1 of S, J. Johnsont s
Addition; and Lots 4,5,6,7 and 8, in Block 5 of J.ansonrs Addition,
and part of the S�'4 of ST-4 of Sec. 5, Twp. 1 North, pange 12 Vest,
more particularly described as be inning at a point 576 feet west
of and 30 f--et north of the southeast /corner thereof; thence north
138 feet; thence Best 50 feet; thence south 138 feet; }hence east
50 feet to point of beginning; and,
Part of the 81 1-1 of SWIL, of Sec. 5, Trop, 1 North., vange 12 West,
r..tore particularly described as beginning at a point 625 feet meet
of and 30 feet north of the southeast corner thereof; thence north
138 feet; thence weet 50 feet; thence south 138 feet; thence east
50 feet to joint of beginning; and
Part of the Sr-I of c01!1 of Sec. 5, T^vp. 1 North, Range 12 ?Vest,
more particularly described as beginning at a point 676 feet west
of and 30 feet north of the southeast corner thereof; thence north
138 feet; thence west 50 feet; thence south 138 feet; thence east
50 feet to point of beginning, all in the pity of Little Rock, Pu-
laski County, Arkansas, In be and they are hereby added to and an-
nexed to Street Improvement District 2io. 314 of Little Rock, and &re
a pert of said Tmprovec.ent District and the com.nisel.oners of said
District shall proceed to make the improvQ*:ients petitioned for by
doing; the r_eoessary draining and paving; with the materials and in
the manner that the commissioners of said Street Improvement nis-
trict No. 314 shall deem to be for the best interest of the terri-
tory hereby annexed to raid Street Improver^ent District Nc. 314
on Vest 12th Street from the-West porperty line of Lewis Street to
the 17est property line of Abh. ail Street.
Section 3: That the commissioners shall make the assessments of
benefits for said improvement on the lots i 1 the territory to be
annexed on the same basis as if said territory was included in
the original district and shall file said assessment with the City
Clark.
Section 4: That all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed and this ordinance shill take effect and be in force from
end after its passage, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered -ithir_
twenty days after the passage of this ordinance to jublieb the same
in some newspaper published in the City of Little Rock for one
insertion.
